Ford Mustang® GT4 – Gen 7

Bred to Race.

Overview

The seventh-generation Ford Mustang GT4 was built by Multimatic Motorsports in partnership with Ford Racing to be ready to race straight out of the box. Affordable, durable and straightforward to maintain, the Mustang GT4 was created specifically for customer teams competing in GT4 championships around the world.

Eligible for SRO-sanctioned GT4 competition globally, as well as selected IMSA and national championship series, Mustang GT4 made an immediate impact on debut. Its first race came at Daytona in January 2024, in the opening round of the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, where customer team KohR Motorsports took the car straight to Victory Lane. The team then backed up that breakthrough result with a second win the following day. Just weeks later, the first Mustang GT4 arrived in Australia for a GT4 Australia campaign with Miedecke Motorsport, winning on debut.

That momentum continued throughout the 2024 season, as Mustang GT4 claimed the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge GSX Team, Driver and Manufacturers’ championships with KohR Motorsports, taking six victories along the way. In Canada, Polito Racing delivered a dominant campaign in the FEL Motorsports Sports Car Championship Canada, winning eight of 10 races on its way to the title.

Mustang GT4’s success has continued to grow internationally. In 2025, Academy Motorsport delivered the car’s first GT4 European Series victories at Paul Ricard and Zandvoort, while Gomersall Motorsport secured the Monochrome GT4 Australia Silver-Am Championship, further strengthening Mustang GT4’s global customer racing credentials.
