IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge

It’s a crucial weekend for the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge competitors at Mid-Ohio. The reshuffling of the race calendar due to the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in a double-header event with a two-hour race on Saturday and another on Sunday, so there are a load of points to be had this time out.

Seb Priaulx and Scott Maxwell had their best race of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season so far at Road Atlanta, steering the #22 Multimatic Mustang to a second place podium finish. A small BoP weight break was all the incentive they needed to fix their focus on the podium and get the job done. The goal is the same for Mid-Ohio: finish on the podium, but this time do it twice!

“Nobody is ever happier than a racing driver with extra racing to do,” said Priaulx. “Mid-Ohio is another circuit that is new to me but I know which way the corners go thanks to learning on a simulator and now I’m excited to get out there in the Mustang GT4.”
