The 2021 Porsche Carrera Cup North America runs at the legendary Road America track this weekend and Sebastian Priaulx will be hunting for victory in both of the 45-minute sprint races, which take place on Saturday and Sunday.
Priaulx is having to fight for every scrap of race track this year, such is the level of competition, and he is enjoying every moment of the challenge.
“I really enjoyed racing at Road America in the Mustang last year,” said Priaulx. “It’s a fast, technical track and it requires some serious commitment. My goal is the same as always and that is to win both races; I’m feeling confident and I know I can do it. I’ve done a lot of work since the last race, culminating in a test at Road America last week. I want that championship lead back and I will be giving it my all.”
Larry Holt commented: “Seb is under massive pressure in Carrera Cup with every race going down to the wire, but he has been training hard through the break since Watkins Glen and he is better prepared than ever for this coming weekend.”
