Dennis Olsen
Dennis Olsen’s racing career began the moment he stepped into a go-kart at the tender age of five. By the age of 13 the Norwegian teenager was a karting champion.
As soon as he could he progressed up to single-seater racing, where he fought against some of the world’s top young talent in various Formula Renault competition, finishing as runner-up in Formula Renault Eurocup in 2014.
In 2016, Olsen contested the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany series and finished in third place overall. He was selected as a Porsche Junior driver and from that moment he hasn’t looked back. He returned to the Porsche Carrera Cup in 2017 and lifted the title.
In recent years, Olsen has competed in Porsche Supercup where he finished as runner-up in 2017, the European Le Mans Series, the Nürburgring 24 Hours, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Blancpain GT Series (now known as GT World Challenge), the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the FIA World Endurance Championship, ADAC GT Masters, and DTM. He has received an incredible grounding in GT racing, across all of the series. A highlight for Olsen came in 2019 when he won the prestigious Intercontinental GT Challenge title.
2024 was Olsen’s first year as a Ford factory driver. After making his debut in the #55 Proton Competition Mustang at Daytona, his season focused on the FIA World Endurance Championship and GT World Challenge Europe, again with Proton. The highlight of the season came at Le Mans where Dennis took a third place podium finish in the #88 Mustang, which was the first ever podium finish for the Mustang GT3.
